Bart Vandenberghe was a finalist for the Research Award of the International Dentomaxillofacial Radiology Association in 2007 (Beijing, China) and won the second price in 2011 (Hiroshima, Japan). He is an author and co-author of numerous international publications and a reviewer for many international journals, as well as an editorial board member of the Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Research. Since 2012 he has been a member of the central council of the European Academy of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology as the chair of the Scientific Committee. Besides his academic endeavors, he organized the first dental mission for the Tierra Bomba Organization in 2007, where he provided dental care and preventive dental education at a local school on the island of Tierra Bomba, Colombia.

Currently, Mr. Vandenberghe  is finalizing a research grant in 3D Cone Beam imaging and 3D follow-up, and until 2015 was working part-time at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, teaching and integrating novel techniques in the field of digital dentistry. He also founded Advimago, a clinic and training center for advanced oral imaging, in Brussels.

Dr. Alex Touchstone has 20 years of experience in the clinical application of digital dentistry in his dental practice. Over the past several years, he has had the privilege of teaching hundreds of dentists per year on how to grow their practices through proper integration of carefully selected technologies. Alex serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in the Postgraduate Prosthodontics Division. In addition, he is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the online education and networking portal LearnDigitalDentistry.com, created for the benefit of dentists and team members who are driven to excellence in the digital restorative community. Alex is also the creator and team leader of cadcamcan.com and holds two US patents in the area of shade control for translucent dental restorations. He serves on the Clinical Advisory Board for Natural Dental Implants AG, and is the Creative Director of Organic Media Studio LLC.

She has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, and is currently supervising 3 PhD students. Her current research is supported by funding from the Academy of Finland.
